The CMI Alimentos cookie plant in Guatemala, which produces leading brands and favorites of Guatemalans such as Gama, Can Can, Club Max, among others, received an outstanding rating in the Ethical Trade Audit of Sedex Members.

The SMETA audit covers all aspects of responsible business practice, covering four areas of Work, Health and Safety, Environment and Business Ethics. The result of the audit was «Outstanding» in each of the aspects evaluated.
